Today's Agent Skill: Website Traffic Insight Summarizer

What It Does

Most small business owners open Google Analytics, stare at a dashboard full of charts and numbers, and close it without knowing what to do differently. The data is there — it's the interpretation and the "so what" that's missing. An AI agent can read your exported traffic data and translate it into a plain-English summary with specific recommendations you can act on this week.

How It Works

The agent takes an export of your website traffic data — from Google Analytics 4, Plausible, or a similar tool — and produces a concise summary covering your top traffic sources, highest and lowest performing pages, visitor behavior patterns, and two to three specific changes you should make based on what the data shows. It flags anomalies, drops in traffic, and pages with high bounce rates that indicate a conversion problem.

How to Deploy It

Run this skill in Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Cursor, or Windsurf by exporting a CSV from Google Analytics 4 (Reports → Export → Download CSV) and pasting the data or attaching the file. Schedule a monthly 15-minute session to run this skill and implement one recommendation from the output. Over time, this becomes your most efficient marketing feedback loop.

SKILL.md — Ready to Deploy

## Description
Translates raw website traffic data into a plain-English summary with specific actionable recommendations — covering top sources, page performance, visitor behavior, and priority improvements — in a format any non-technical small business owner can read and act on.

## Trigger
Invoke when the user says "help me understand my website analytics," "summarize my Google Analytics data," "I have a CSV from my website traffic tool," "what does my web traffic tell me," or shares exported analytics data.

## Input
- Exported traffic data: CSV or pasted data from Google Analytics 4, Plausible, Fathom, or similar tool
- Time range of the data (e.g., last 30 days, last quarter, year-over-year)
- Business type and primary website goal (drive purchases, generate leads, book appointments, build email list)
- Any context: recent campaigns, seasonal patterns, or known events that affected traffic

## Steps
1. Calculate and summarize overall traffic volume and trend: total sessions/visitors, week-over-week or month-over-month change, and whether the trend is up, down, or flat.
2. Identify the top 3–5 traffic sources by volume and by conversion quality if conversion data is present. Fl
